SHOCKtober: The Week to Come

Listen y'all, I ain't got the whole month of watchings all planned out, but I did put my brain on overdrive to come up with the next week's viewings if you can't handle living life by the speed of your pants. Without any more ado, here are the movies and the days I'll be talkin' 'bout said movies, Willis:

Monday, 10/5 - ASMODEXIA (2014)
Tuesday, 10/6 - OMEN III: THE FINAL CONFLICT (1981) (fuck yeah, 1981)
Wednesday 10/7 - MANIAC (2012)
Thursday 10/8 - ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE (2013)
Friday 10/9 - A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT (2014)
Saturday 10/10 - DARKNESS (2002)
Sunday 10/11 - DEVIL SEED (2012)

S'gonna be a good week! Although this month's experiment is a good way for me to catch up on newer movies, I do wish Netflix had some older titles I've yet to see. All the ones that were on my list mysteriously vanished at the beginning of the month. Hmm, maybe they were dead the whole time!

I'll be very interested to read what you thought of Maniac. I wasn't sure I was enjoying it while I watched it, and I still don't know if I think it's "good," but there's...something there because almost a year later I still find myself thinking about it more than I would have expected.

I'm super curious about it! I liked the original way more than I thought I would (although I'm not sure if "like" is the right word..."appreciated" maybe?) and the casting in this one definitely seemed like a head-scratcher when announced.

Yeah, I think Netflix has recently lost some package deals with older movies. I recently rejoined (admittedly, the UK version - which has a lot less than the US) - and there was not a lot of older stuff (horror or not).

All Cheerleaders Die was everything I wanted it to be.

My boyfriend and I compared our DVD collections, and Darkness was one of the only overlaps. *cries*
