untitled #7

Man, I can't believe I haven't posted since August! How time something somethings when you're something something.

Trust me, I have a good reason for the lack of updates these last few days, and soon...VERY SOON MY PRETTIES all will be revealed. I'd intended to post a review today, but instead I spent several hours Fighting The Power. I swear, I feel so Gerald McRaney of television's Major Dad starring in Night of Bloody Horror right now...violent vision, indeed.

I thought I would let you all know, however, that I'm not dead- I'm still managing to elude any and all venomous creepy-crawlies, thank you very much. I also thought I'd remind you that Adam Green's Hatchet opens on Friday. I'm looking forward to some good-time slasher action!

Godspeed, Final Girl, and may all your opponents feel as though they had been hatcheted into Gerald McRaney of television's Major Dad-dom.

"Hatchet" could suck hard, but it still will get my vote of approval for nothing else other than its tag line:

It's not a remake. It's not a sequel. And it's not based on a Japanese one.

Whoa. That capture of Major Dad losing his shit looks like it was taken from some 1920's German expressionist flick...

The Cabinet of Gerald McRaney, perhaps?

I found a black widow at my place this weekend. Take it back!

I have pretty high hopes for "Hatchet". It looks like a quality production with an old school story. And the tag line does rock...

Now that I've said that, it'll suck...

I'm heartened to see that my spider-mind-control experiments are beginning to work.

Wait, I mean...a black widow at your house?? Oh no!

I'm seeing Hatchet tonight, yay!
