Spot on with the assessment of Lifeforce. I do love it so. Would have been nice to have a few words about The Ninth Gate, as I find it very underrated, but you can't have everything.John Weddellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-53689153651751736922010-10-30T12:24:45.760-04:002010-10-30T12:24:45.760-04:00Always good to see JKM weigh in, either at home or...Always good to see JKM weigh in, either at home or abroad, although as the author of RICHARD MATHESON ON SCREEN, I am of course chagrined at the absence of any Matheson titles on his list! :-) In truth, our personal lists wouldn't overlap much, but I did have a very enjoyable experience that grew out of KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS, of all things. When working on the DVD for the now-defunct GoodTimes Entertainment, I was able to contact the film's producer, Igo Kantor, whom I interviewed for FILMFAX. He was a delightful raconteur, and while space limitations forced them to shorten the interview considerably, maybe I'll run some excerpts over at Bradley on Film one day. Thanks for the memories, John!Matthew Bradleyhttp://bradleyonfilm.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-66685619259018278442010-10-30T06:19:07.875-04:002010-10-30T06:19:07.875-04:00John's thoughtful synopsis of "Phantasm&q...John's thoughtful synopsis of "Phantasm" is superlative - best I've ever read.spazmohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17770439241696826129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-13247669966076668792010-10-29T20:56:56.057-04:002010-10-29T20:56:56.057-04:00I admit that lately I have been getting a lot of w...I admit that lately I have been getting a lot of warm fuzzies for all the recent love for FRIGHT NIGHT.

For the longest time I thought I was the only person who loved that movie. Or that maybe I just had nostalgia goggles on and that the movie was actually terrible.

It's nice to hear other people love it as well.CashBaileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13593976245341180685noreply@blogger.com
