The 'favorites' happened back in 2010. This time around it's interesting to see how the two lists match up (or don't, more likely).Stacie Ponderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07784074536271206501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-63721908414608736612013-10-20T14:15:06.674-04:002013-10-20T14:15:06.674-04:00It seems good to note somewhere that I voted based...It seems good to note somewhere that I voted based on movies that scared me, but not on horror movies that I really like. there are a ton of horror movies that I really like that didn't scare me. Which is why I didn't vote on awesome movies like The Fog or Company of Wolves, both of which I love.

Also, let it be known that whoever voter for Ernest Scared Stupid is a awesome person!!!!!!!Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00223287484034912272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-40884235026904553412013-10-17T22:14:27.667-04:002013-10-17T22:14:27.667-04:00I remember when I was a kid and my interest in hor...I remember when I was a kid and my interest in horror films was just starting to emerge I rented a large, lavishly illustrated book about horror films from the library. There was a prominently placed full page photo in it of that bit in 'The Company Of Wolves' where the fella has torn his whole face off. That sure made an impression like a big slap mark on my poor little developing brain. After the twist, as soon as I realized that something else was about to happen, I had to leave the room. Muffy and her big knife through the kitchen's door scared the hell out of me!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09974308319078836573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-48665148333219822432013-10-16T17:45:58.802-04:002013-10-16T17:45:58.802-04:00Don't know if I've ever considered it real...Don't know if I've ever considered it really scary, but I love me some "Fright Night." Sarandon's choice of sweaters should have at the very least nabbed the film consideration for a Costume Design nomination.

And Martin, you have to watch the original! As Stacie said, completely different film and actually good so yeah, check it out.Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548468568645800735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-47670197292499493382013-10-16T15:12:09.480-04:002013-10-16T15:12:09.480-04:00"Am I doing myself a massive disservice by le..."Am I doing myself a massive disservice by letting that put me off the original?!?"

The remake is nothing like the original. I don't just mean that it's bad (I think it is), it's not even really a remake, it's so dissimilar.

If you dig 80s slasher movies, you should like the original! Personally, I love it.
