I remember the first scene was very realistic: a couple in a car, the assailant suddenly opens the hood and rips out the spark plugs so they can't get away, and then he goes to town on them. I think the fact that he changed his M.O. was pretty scary too; just staying in your house won't keep you safe. Wish it was on DVD.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-84003374877736228732008-01-14T04:04:00.000-05:002008-01-14T04:04:00.000-05:00Hi I am from Texarkana where that happen at I go t...Hi I am from Texarkana where that happen at I go to that park alot and i have been to the house where the guy got shot at also but there alot of things in the movie that didnt happen and details they left out but other then that it is a good movie and something worth watchingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-1142701943723064582006-03-18T12:12:00.000-05:002006-03-18T12:12:00.000-05:00i remember watching this movie when i was a kid, i...i remember watching this movie when i was a kid, i was born in 1976. my dad and i would stay up late at night and watch horror films. i loved the movie, it scared me, and i suggest to anyone to watch it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-1142657178519786562006-03-17T23:46:00.000-05:002006-03-17T23:46:00.000-05:00I've seen this movie in our local video store hund...I've seen this movie in our local video store hundreds of times, but never picked it up. I'm quite curious, now.

I have never understood why directors would ruin the suspense of their own films by adding goofy comedy routines. Perhaps they believe the juxtaposition of sillyness and horror will make the tension more stark. Unfortunately, most of the time, it's the absurdity of the attempted humor that becomes more stark.

Now I'm off to read about the real Phantom Killer!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
